Created in 1990, GEPSA is one of the main partners of the Prison Administration and is present in 15 Joint Management establishments. In these establishments, GEPSA heads a group that includes Elyo (maintenance) and Eurest (catering and the canteen).
Acting in close partnership with heads of the establishments and with the Prison Rehabilitation and Probation Services, GEPSA promotes initiatives designed to prepare inmates for the job market.
A Facilities Management specialist, GEPSA is also responsible for 4 administrative detention centres on behalf of the Ministry of the Interior and also for the Versailles Satory military base on behalf of the Ministry of Defence. Thus, GEPSA meets the requirements of the major administrations responsible for the country’s public safety.
