The 3E performance contract

Following the guidelines set by the Grenelle de l’Environnement, COFELY has developed a contractual framework designed to provide clients, throughout the duration of the contract, with savings in energy and reduced greenhouse effect gases: the Environment and Energy Efficiency Performance Contract.

This Performance contract is based on a number of commitments throughout the term of the contract, from the definition of the scope of actions required (actions affecting equipment and/or structures, alternative energies, user awareness etc.)  with a view, at the end of the contract period to raising a statement on the technical assets handed over, including guarantees on energy savings and on reduced emissions. 

Beyond commitments entered into on energy and environmental optimisation of equipment, COFELY attaches great importance to the service rendered:

• on the one hand, all COFELY regional entities are ISO 9001 certificated;
• on the other, COFELY deploys indicators that quantify the quality of services rendered: ambient temperature, comfort, domestic hot water temperature, quality of ventilation/of air, steam temperature/pressure etc.

Depending on the legal status of its clients, a range of contractual schemes can be considered for the deployment of the 3E Performance contract:

• Public Energy Performance Contract or Energy Partnership Contract for public clients;
• Private Energy Contracts in other cases.
